Meltdown

Meltdown Creative Works is a screen-printing, sign-making, and graphic design company that's been based in downtown Bloomington for the better part of the past decade. I recently had the privilege of helping this well-known local business begin the transition to a larger facility better equipped for their needs.

The Challenge

Meltdown Creative Works was another Bloomington-Normal business that had outgrown its current space and had aspirations to play an even bigger role in their community. They were feeling the growing pains of not having the space to have enough material in stock, and wanted more square footage, in addition to the possibility of a garage space to handle vehicle wrapping. Knowing this, my challenge was to find them a space that would suit their needs while keeping them close to the customer base they'd built around.

The Results

In a very exciting development, Meltdown Creative Works is moving to 216 Grove St. in beautiful Downtown Bloomington, making them one of the first businesses to move into another real estate development project that has meant a lot to me and my career! I'm excited for the results of this one, as Meltdown will more than double their available square footage, moving from about 2000 square feet to 5700 square feet, in addition to building out new offices, new doors, windows, create new customer entrance and retail space. Not only do we believe this spot will serve them well for a long time, but also they'll be a great fit in the Grove St Warehouse!
